4 If FTvirtual Server Desktop is not running, click [Start] – [All

Programs] – [Marathon Endurance] – [FTvirtual Server Desktop] to

start it.

5 Terminate all running applications on FTv, CoServer1 and CoServer2.

6 Copy the downloaded package, which is self-extracting package, onto

FTvirtual Server and run it.

It extracts following files:

7 Start Endurance Manager, and click [View]  [Properties].

“Component Properties” window will open.

8 Click [Endurance Configuration] node of the tree in the left panel. See

Product Revision in the right panel:

・ The case that Production Revision is “6.1.2.xxxx-yy.zz” (ex.

“6.1.2.2020-SP.EA”) and xxxx is less than 2131:

Apply this hotfix. After it is applied, Endurance Software will be indicated

as Revision 6.1.2.2131-HF.EA.

・ The case that Production Revision is “6.1.2.xxxx-yy.zz” (ex.

“6.1.2.2125-HF.EA”) and xxxx is greater than or equal 2131:

No need to apply this hotfix.

・ The case that Production Revision is not “6.1.2.xxxx-yy.zz”:

This hotfix is not applicable.

9 Close Endurance Manager.

Endurance Manager should be closed before starting to update. If it still opens,

updating may fail.

10 Extract the hotfix files.

(1) Run “HF612EA13.EXE”

- readme.txt ... the document to read first

- install.pdf ... this document

- HF612EA13.EXE ... the package including Endurance Software hotfix
