Creating a Virtual Disk

You create a virtual disk by specifying its size and location. The Device Redirector creates a

file which becomes a virtual disk that you can redirect to the FTvirtual Server.

To create a virtual disk:

1 Under CoServer Devices

CoServern Disk Drives, then

select Actions Create,

right-click Disk Drives then select

Create.

2 Specify the size of the virtual disk in

megabytes.

3 Specify the name and location of the file

that will become the virtual disk.

4Click Create A file representing the virtual disk of the

specified size is created at the specified

location.

5 Mount the file as a virtual disk. See Mounting a Virtual Disk on page 3-20.
